Last Sunday the Friends of Nature gave a small party. Of course, the corona protection measures were observed, the event took place exclusively online. The desire arose to meet, see and chat together, outside of the already existing video board meetings. Everyone took care of the mood themselves. Everything from coffee to apple spritzer and hard liquor was included. Board member Beate led through the party. One point of discussion was what positive effects Corona has had. The participants reported on their experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. The fast pace of the often hectic here and there has been slowed down, the pace of everyday life has changed. Sports activities that are possible in this pandemic time are given a different status. In some families, new mountain bikes were purchased or another variant, a gravel bike, which is particularly suitable for comfortable and fast driving on gravel and gravel. A positive effect that Corona has caused are the many online learning and training programs as well as the increased work from home, the home office. Hobbies were activated or rediscovered and the preparation of vegan camembert was perfected. Let’s see if this is a new addition to the NaturFreunde program or if everything is just cheese. The friends of nature exchanged ideas about interesting books and those who were still looking for exciting reading material got a suggestion. The NaturFreunde Barsinghausen said goodbye with the video film “This is us – NaturFreunde”, which was awarded first place and which the regional association of nature lovers had called for a competition in 2020. Continuation? Yes, it is nice to see each other, even more beautiful personally at and in the Naturfreundehaus, let’s see when Corona allows that.
