Natural Optics Group organizes a solidarity action to donate glasses to people in vulnerable situations together with the Red Cross

This year, on the occasion of World Sight Day, Natural Optics Group (NOG) has organized a solidarity action focused on the donation of glasses to vulnerable groups in which they have participated more than 50 opticians associated with the group.

To carry out this action, the opticians will lend their time and knowledge to graduate and mount the glasses of those people in vulnerable situations who have previously been treated and referred by the Red Cross. What’s more, YET has made a donation of frames so that its associates can offer them to users and mount the glasses in their own optician, which will also speed up the delivery time of the product.

On the other hand, and thanks to the altruistic collaboration of the preferred suppliers with whom it works YET and who have wanted to join this action (Indo, Essilor, Shamir, BBGR and Kodak) the opticians will also be able to deliver monofocal and progressive lenses free of charge to users. In this way, the patient will receive both a personalized optometry service and a complete glasses for visual correction.

Thanks to this solidarity gesture Of all those involved, people in vulnerable situations will have access to better visual health, thus fulfilling the right of all people to see well.
