(AOF) – Natural gas fell slightly in the United States in the wake of disappointing Chinese data. The price of natural gas (Henry Hub) lost 0.43% to 2.32 per MMBtu. Unveiled this morning, the Composite Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), which takes into account the manufacturing and services sectors, fell to 52.9 in May in China after rising to 54.4 in April. The contraction in the manufacturing sector deepened, with the PMI falling from 49.2 to 48.8 between April and May.
