NATO summit passed in Vilnius on 11 and 12 July. One of its main topics was the allies’ response to Ukraine’s membership in the alliance. Alliance leaders have postponed introduction Kyiv in NATO because of a possible conflict with the Russian Federation. It was also specified that in case of defeat in the conflict with Russia, Kyiv would not be able to join NATO. In addition, the G7 countries agreed security guarantees for Kyiv.
