NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg began his four-day visit to the Western Balkans region in Sarajevo, expressing concern about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina – a separatist threat from Republika Srpska, allegedly under Kremlin influence, emerged several months ago.

From Sarajevo, Stoltenberg headed to Pristina, where he promised to help resolve tensions with Belgrade.

On Tuesday, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance is scheduled to meet in Belgrade with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Stoltenberg’s tour ends on Wednesday in North Macedonia.
