NATO Secretary General reports on Armored Vehicles and Tanks Transferred to Ukraine in Ramstein Format

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg summed up the volumes of armored vehicles and tanks transferred to Ukraine within the framework of the Ramstein format.

He spoke about this on Thursday at a joint briefing with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, the correspondent reports. “European Truth”.

“In general, through the contact group led by the United States, NATO allies and partners have provided Ukraine with unprecedented assistance. More than 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine have already been delivered. This means more than 1,550 pieces of armored vehicles, 230 tanks and other equipment, including a large amount of ammunition,” Stoltenberg said.

In total, he said, more than nine new Ukrainian armored brigades have been trained and equipped thanks to the support of partners.

“This will give Ukraine a strong position for the further reconquest of the occupied territories,” Stoltenberg stressed.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General stated that Ukraine ready to conquer more territory against the background of preparations for the expected counter-offensive against Russian forces.

The Commander-in-Chief of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, on the eve expressed his conviction that Ukraine receive the promised equipment on time for a counteroffensive.
