President of Russia Vladimir Putin refers to countries participating in the conflict Ukraine by donating weapons to the country. Putin also said that the West plans to divide Russia.
“They are sending tens of billions of dollars of weapons to Ukraine. This is really participation,” Putin said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 media broadcast on Sunday (26/2) local time.
“This means that they participated, even if indirectly, in the crimes committed by the Kyiv regime,” Putin said. AFPMonday (27/2/2023).
Putin said Western countries had “one goal, which is to break up the former Soviet Union and its principal part, the Russian Federation”.
“Only then will they probably accept us into the so-called civilized family of society but only separately, each part separately,” said Putin.
Putin said on the sidelines of a patriotic concert in Moscow, ahead of the first anniversary of the start of the massive offensive Russia the Ukraine.
In the interview, Putin also reiterated his call for a multipolar world and said he had “no doubt” that this would happen.
“What are we fighting? Against the fact that this new world that is being formed was built in the interests of only one country, the United States of America,” the Russian leader said.
“Now that their attempt to re-arrange the world in their own image after the fall of the Soviet Union has caused this situation, we are obliged to react,” he said.
