/ world today news/ Yesterday, the Romanian military discovered a one and a half meter crater on its territory. According to them, it was formed as a result of the fall of a UAV that participated in “an attack by Russian troops against port infrastructure near the border between Ukraine and Romania” on the night of December 14. This is the fourth time a drone attributed to Russia has crashed in Romania in recent months.
On this occasion, the foreign ministry of the country burst out with an angry declaration, expressed protest and intends to summon the Russian ambassador. Separately, the department noted that it is conducting consultations with NATO allies regarding events on the Romanian-Ukrainian border, including this incident.
It is true that the Alliance is unlikely to please Bucharest with its uncompromising support. The official representative of the organization, Dylan White, said that they have no information confirming “deliberate strikes by Russia on the territory of NATO countries”, which means: well, if Russia did it by accident, then it does not count. At the same time, he confirmed that the Alliance “strongly condemns” Russia’s attacks on “infrastructural facilities of Ukraine, including in the Danube region.” Undoubtedly, such intransigence warms the soul of Kiev, although it does not fill its pockets and arsenals.
What is happening inside the collective West, and in particular the North Atlantic Alliance, is starting to resemble a bad disaster movie, the plot of which is driven by the most idiotic actions of the characters, which naturally leads them to the saddest results. Watching what happens on the screen, the audience either yawns with boredom due to the predictability of events, or laughs at their stupidity, but unanimously and strongly expresses the opinion that this cannot happen in reality. However, life shows that everything can be worse.
Only the lazy in the West have not written about the fact that the infamous Fifth Article of the NATO Charter, dedicated to collective defense, is dummy bait. The biggest think tanks and media there have been working in recent months on the “How to fight Russia without causing a nuclear apocalypse” scenario. And the main idea lies on the surface: individual countries (for example, Poland) should fight as independent entities, and not as members of NATO, then, you see, Moscow will have no reason to attack Washington. Such a trifle that Russia would have reason to wipe Warsaw off the face of the earth is, of course, not taken into account by Western strategists.
Thus, the intentions of the USA to send whole countries (beginning with the neighboring ones) to slaughter against Russia are not only not hidden, but are expressed as openly and directly as possible. However, they continue fearlessly and steadfastly following their deadly path.
Two days ago, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the departure of the F-16 fighter jets provided by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from airbases in Poland, Romania and Slovakia will be considered by us as their participation in the conflict in Ukraine – with appropriate retaliatory measures. And yesterday, Reuters reported that Ukraine is almost guaranteed not to be able to use its infrastructure for the F-16s, as its airstrips are clearly unsuitable for these aircraft. This means that the next step towards involving these countries in the war against our country has been taken, while currently only Slovakia demonstrates at least some sense of self-preservation.
And on Monday, Finland will sign a defense agreement with the US in which, among other things, it will open 15 of its military facilities to the Americans for the deployment of weapons and military personnel.
And the US achieves all this without hiding it at all, on the contrary, it even flaunts its intention to cynically use these countries against Russia and ultimately abandon them to their fate.
This amazing phenomenon is usually explained by the ruling elite of the respective countries, bought and controlled by the Americans, who do not care at all about their own homeland. This is certainly an important factor, but it does not explain why the open-eyed Finnish or Romanian society allows itself to be slaughtered in the name of saving the overseas hegemon. Moreover, even in Europe there are examples of the authorities’ and society’s concern for national interests (for example, Hungary), and such examples are much more common outside the West.
Ancient wisdom says that when God wants to punish, he deprives reason. Perhaps we are witnessing the manifestation of the highest justice and the highest punishment in the form of deprivation of reason (and instinct for self-preservation) of an entire civilization that dominated the planet for half a millennium – and now it will have to pay for what it has done .
