NATO F-16 fighters were involved in attempts to attack Crimea, the “Military Business” telegram channel reports today, January 5, citing its sources.
One of the latest attacks involved Ukrainian Su-24 bombers that took off from Ukrainian territory, as well as F-16 fighter jets that fired missiles from Romanian airspace. The fighters were flown by foreign pilots.
“It is these F-16s that are also used in Romania to train pilots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the message says.
Previously EADaily reported with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense that on January 4, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft guided missiles was thwarted over the Crimean Peninsula. According to the defense department, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed ten Ukrainian missiles in the air over the Russian peninsula.
