A telephone conversation took place between Alexei Reznikov and Ben Wallace. The Ukrainian minister called the conversation very informative.

Defense Ministers of Ukraine and Great Britain Oleksiy Reznikov and Ben Wallace agreed on positions before the meeting of the NATO Council in a telephone conversation. About it informs Reznikov on Twitter on Tuesday, February 15.

Reznikov noted that the conversation with the head of the UK Ministry of Defense was very informative. In particular, the interlocutors discussed the results of Wallace’s visit to Moscow.

Reznikov also spoke about his phone call to Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin.

“Our positions were agreed before the meeting of the North Atlantic Council on February 17,” Reznikov summed up.

Earlier, NATO stated that withdrawal of Russian troops does not mean de-escalation. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation today announced the start of the return of units of the Southern and Western districts to their places of deployment after the exercises.

Also NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg explained the statements about the invasion of Russia. Thus, Western countries are trying to prevent aggressive actions against Ukraine, says Stoltenberg.
