„All NATO countries have agreed that Ukraine should become part of the AllianceNATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said. He added that the main focus right now is to ensure that Kiev prevails in the conflict.
Speaking ahead of the Ramstein forum, which is attended by all defense ministers from NATO member states, Stoltenberg added that Ukraine must be prepared to prevent further attacks.
“We must remember that this war did not start in February last year, but in 2014, when Russia illegally annexed Crimea and moved its units into Donbas,” he pointed out.
The Russian winter offensive made little progress in the eastern part of the country. Ukraine hopes during the “spring counter-offensive” to regain its eastern and southern territories.
