Stoltenberg said NATO would ask China to fight Russia but Beijing was unlikely to listen.
“Beijing has joined Moscow in questioning the right of independent countries to choose their own path,” Stoltenberg told a news conference ahead of the NATO summit in Brussels.

Stoltenberg said NATO leaders would address China’s role during the summit to be held today local time, and would ask the Asian superpower to fulfill its responsibilities as a member of the UN Security Council and refrain from supporting Russia’s war effort and joining the rest of the world. in calling for an immediate and peaceful end to this war.
It is not clear what examples of lies and misinformation Stoltenberg was referring to, although China has joined Russia in condemning the activities of US-funded biological laboratories in Ukraine.
