I dawned on the shore of silence.
Behind me – rocks from dark ages
they drew the canvases thoughtfully
on a ship that once had a sea.
I don’t know why I came to this shore.
I could feel autumn melting me.
My hands touched the infinity…
and I had no more breasts, thighs.
I was not a woman. I was a dream, a magic, a flower.
I sank into white-haired silence.
I didn’t remember my name, but the men
they called me different names.
Cracked the face of the rock,
a maddened light erupted.
The only man I’ve been waiting for
bloodied and barefoot, he stopped at me.
My hair sizzled hot
and I saw myself as if in magic:
White candles burned on the sand.
My soul was called Maria.
