Native beta for Apple Silicon now available for everyone

WhatsApp has been working on a version for Macs with Apple Silicon since last summer. The whole thing was previously available via TestFlight in a limited beta version, but how WABetaInfo now found out, all interested users can access the release immediately. In contrast to the Intel version, which logically also runs on your Macs with an Apple chip via Rosetta 2, the native version should not only run faster, but also be more resource-efficient. So it’s worth taking a look at the beta.

You can find the release on the WhatsApp FAQ page. Please note, however, that this is still a beta and therefore there could still be bugs.
