Switzerland surprisingly won the Nations League 2-1 (1-0) in Spain. Portugal clearly prevailed in the Czech Republic 4-0 (2-0).
This puts the Portuguese in first place with 10 points at the start of the last day, ahead of Spain with two points less. Switzerland (6 points) are third in the group.
In Zaragoza, the Swiss took the lead thanks to a goal from former Dortmunder Manuel Akanji (21 ‘). Jordi Alba (55 minutes) equalized at half-time. But just three minutes later, the Swiss took the lead. Former Mönchengladbacher Breel Embolo was present.

Ukraine with a thud in Armenia
Three days after the resounding defeat in Scotland, Ukraine responded with a regular victory in Armenia and remain in the running for promotion to the Nations League.
Ukraine clearly won Yerevan’s match against Armenia 5-0 (1-0) and thus temporarily regained their lead in League B, Group 1. The Ukrainians (10 points) are in first place ahead of Scotland ( 9). Armenia (3) is in 4th place.

Three days after the disappointing 3-0 defeat to the Scots, Oleksandr Tymtschyk (22) put the visitors ahead. Oleksandr Subkov (57 ‘), Artem Dowbyk (69’ / 84 ‘) and Danylo Ihnatenko (81’) secured the Ukrainian victory in the second round.

Despite Haaland struck: Norway loses in Slovenia
Norway, on the other hand, missed a big step towards promotion to the Nations League despite the precision of scorer Erling Haaland. The former Dortmunder put his side ahead in Saturday’s match in Slovenia (47th), but in the end the Norwegians lost 2-1 (0-0).
For the marker of Manchester City it was the twelfth goal in the ninth game of the Nations League. Andraz Spoar (69th) and future Leipzig Benjamin Sesko (81st) turned the game around in Ljubljana.
