Sarrabia with the goal of the evening
In what had been an uneventful game in Geneva for a long time, Pablo Sarabia (13th minute) gave the Spaniards a deserved lead, securing victory after two previous draws. Switzerland, with goalkeeper Yann Sommer, Breel Embolo (both Borussia Mönchengladbach), Manuel Akanji (Borussia Dortmund) and Silvan Widmer (FSV Mainz 05) in the starting eleven, rarely challenged the favorites.
Bernardo Silva shines as a preparer
Bernardo Silva in particular shone in Portugal’s selection for superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The offensive player of Manchester City prepared the two goals from Joao Cancelo (33rd) and Goncalo Guedes (38th) in Lisbon.
