The next edition of the Nations League began with a thrilling match at Hampden Park. The goals for the White and Reds in the opening match of Group A1 in Glasgow were scored by Sebastian Szymański (in the 8th minute) and Robert Lewandowski from a penalty (44th), but the hosts managed to equalize after Billy Gilmour (46th) and Scott McTominay (76th) found the back of the net.
The result was set in the 7th minute of added time by Nicola Zalewski, who had been fouled in the penalty area moments earlier.
The next opponent for Michał Probierz’s team will be Croatia. In their first match, Zlatko Dalić’s team lost to Portugal 1:2 in Lisbon.
