The crossing will have been tumultuous. It was anything but a long quiet river. But the Blanzat Sport Montluçon (Allier) finally got there with a short victory in the hold (32-31), this Saturday, November 13 in the evening, at home in its Sports Hall, against the Annecy CSAV (Haute-Savoie). And this, on the occasion of the ninth day of the championship of National 1 female.
First half
Yet the Bourbonnaises had cast off their moorings (7-5, 9e), before setting off (15-9, 23e) in the wake of winger Agnès Ékobo (10 goals including four penalties), road captain and top scorer of the game.
Compact in defense and explosive in attack, they liquefied Annecy who accumulated loss of bullets (25 in total) and stumbled over Horvat (8 saves in one half) by forcing their shots. Score at break: 19-13.

Second half-time
Alas, while we thought them unsinkable, the locals literally sank back from the locker room. Suddenly without rhythm and rocking all over the place, they took a 9-2 in eight minutes (21-22, 38th) and let visitors walk past for the first and only time of the evening.
The Haut-Savoyards were able to bet on the back Vidalie (7 goals), the center-half Gomez (6 goals) and the very tight goalkeeper Schlink (16 saves), to open a breach (24-24, 45e). Avarage loomed over the Montluçonnaises (31-31, 58e). But thanks to a final goal from Okabandé, followed by a parade from the substitute door Hudry (59th), they were able to dock as the winner (32-31, 60e). And capsize with happiness.
In the ranking, this fifth success of the season in nine games allows the BSM to come back to the height of its opponent of the evening. Montluçon, Annecy, but also Montpellier are all on an equal footing (6th out of 14, 19 pts), in pool 4 of N1F.
