The National Water Commission (With water) warned that this Sunday, June 4, the third heat wave will prevail, caused by an anticyclonic circulation in the middle levels of the atmosphere, with maximum temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in Baja California, Campeche, Chiapas, Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Veracruz and Yucatán.
The Conagua detailed through a statement that maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees are expected in Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, the southwest of Mexico stateGuanajuato, Nuevo León, southwestern Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas, and 30 to 35 degrees in Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Hidalgo, Querétaro and Tlaxcala.
Due to the high temperatures predicted, the population is recommended to avoid
expose yourself to solar radiation for long periods of time, hydrate yourself adequately, pay special attention to chronically ill patients, children and the elderly, as well as follow the indications of the health sector and Civil Protection.
At dawn this Sunday, minimum temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees were recorded in mountainous areas of Chihuahua and Durango, Conagua reported.

For this day, heavy rains are forecast, from 75 to 150 millimeters (mm), in regions of Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz; very strong (50 to 75 mm) in areas of Hidalgo; strong (from 25 to 50 mm) in localities of Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Tamaulipas; intervals of showers (from 5 to 25 mm) in Mexico City, Coahuila, the State of Mexico, Morelos, Nuevo León, Tabasco and Tlaxcala, and isolated rains (from 0.1 to 5 mm) in Campeche, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Michoacán, Quintana Roo, Yucatan and Zacatecas.
According to the Conagua report, the rains could be accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail fall.
Also, winds with gusts of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour and tornadoes are expected in Chihuahua, Coahuila and Durango, and gusts of 40 to 60 km/h with possible tornadoes in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Mexico State, Guanajuato , Noble, Jalisco, Michigan, New Leon, Puebla, Queretaro, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Zacatecas.
“The rains and winds will be caused by two low pressure channels, the first located over the southeast of the country, in interaction with divergence in height and the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, and the second extended from the Mesa from the North to the Central Table, in combination with the subtropical jet stream”, reported Conagua.
