This place has been coordinating days of protest and publicity with the university community. in defense of the Public University to stop the National Government’s brutal change program against education and culture.
For this reason, we are asking the UNA university community and all citizens to mobilize on Tuesday, April 23
concentration
Time: 2 pm
Location: Miter Headquarters (Bartolomé Miter 1869, CABA)
Starting at 3pm, look for the UNA flag in the general column on Avenida Rivadavia near the Plaza del Congreso. We march along Avenida de Mayo to the Plaza de Mayo for the central event which starts at 6pm.
Light artistic careers are rendered invisible with some public speeches that say we are not a priority or strategic for the development of the country. So, this March, we want to be the most visible, most colorful, and tallest pillar of them all: Let’s go with our posters, our instruments, the cameras, our work materials, our productions, montadxs, makeup, and clothes for the event. With creativity, joy, and being diverse, we will protect education, the arts and culture.
On Tuesday we marched through:
– Budget update of operational costs that guarantee the material activities of the university: training, research and expansion.
– Maintaining and expanding scholarship programs as well as awarding a student ticket.
– Salary reinstatement of teachers and non-teaching staff.
– The continuity of scientific infrastructure and university work is ongoing, as well as the equipment programs to support teaching and research activities.
– Maintaining the scientific, technological and innovative system despite a decline in institutions, policies and programs.
– Stop removing institutions and programs to support the arts and public culture.
– Diversity of voices, academic freedom and resistance to censorship.
– Reinstatement of all dismissed state employees and against State evacuation.
