National Theater actress Marija Bērziņa has given birth to a son

At the age of 41, actress Marija Bērziņa has given birth to a son, who is also the first and only grandchild of the legendary actor Andris Bērziņš.

The baby was born shortly before she was a child at the spring solstice. The boy will have two names, but for now the parents do not reveal the choice. But most importantly – the boy will be Liv. “We’re meeting and making friends right now. We’re beautiful and lovely,” the actress told the magazine.

Bērziņa has been with conductor Gailīte for three years now, who considers herself a Salaspils Liv, while Marija’s house is in Košrags. The couple is interested in the Livs and their history.

Bērziņa tried to keep the fact that one of the spectators’ favorite actresses of the National Theater is expecting a baby for a long time; an alternate was found for her roles in the theater. This initially sparked talk of not wanting to be vaccinated against Covid-19, but it turned out that Bērziņa was no longer playing because she was expecting a baby.
