After finding the way to victory last week, at the beginning of the game we felt like a confident ASNL, which attacked strongly. Cropanese quickly warmed up Beuve’s gloves, after less than twenty seconds of play (1st). The Norman goalkeeper who had to get back to work shortly after, leaving a saving intervention in front of Robinet (4th).

Nancy immediately imposed her rhythm and her pressing, putting the Avranchinese in the background. Like these two losses of the ball from the locals on the left, which almost led to a free kick. But, on the first, El Aynaoui’s recovery was thwarted in extremis by a corner kick (22nd), and, on the second, Robinet preferred to move away towards Sakho while El Aynaoui had ideally served him on goal (32nd).

Etcheverria put Beuve to the test again with a shot from distance (43′), but, against all expectations, it was Avranches who took the chestnuts out of the fire. A moment of inattention from Nancy was immediately sanctioned, with Launay fixing a nice volley into the Sourzac hole (1-0, 45’+1).

Worst case scenario for Nancy. This grain of sand blocked the whole car. Avranches found himself revived. The Manchois were able to regroup and counter. It was they who had the best chance in the second half. Mercier shot wide (65th) and Sacko had the ball to make it 2-0 but missed from close range (66th).

The ASNL pushed well late in the game, but Beuve didn’t have to stop. Lamine Cissé headed wide (75°), while Taha missed precision twice (87°, 90° +1). Another disappointment. One again.
