Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim, Head of the Market Management Department at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, revealed details of the fifth generation into Egypt, and the launch of the integrated SIM service “ESIM” in the coming period.

Ibrahim, in a telephone conversation with journalist Nashat Al-Daihi, said on the “Pen and Paper” program, which was broadcast on Egypt’s Channel Ten, on Tuesday night: The fifth generation will lead to greater access to the internet, and this is very much reflected in the quality of the videos.

He explained that in the coming period all electricity meters will have integrated communication chips (eSIM), so the meter will be better controlled, as well as allowing remote control of devices and control to maintain many services in ports in an automatic way.

He confirmed that there are many international companies that have invested heavily in the telecommunications sector in Egypt, and this is evidence that the Egyptian economy is very attractive for investments.
