Of the 3,334 respondent students, only 24.7% said they received immunization with one of the available sera, while a majority of 75.3% were not vaccinated against COVID-19. According to the CNE, 52.5% of students who have not been vaccinated are somewhat afraid of the symptoms of a new Coronavirus infection.
One of the discouraging factors regarding vaccination is that of side effects, as 67.1% of the students surveyed are concerned about the COVID-19 vaccine, while only 32.9% of them have no concern in this regard.
Of the total respondents who were not vaccinated, the majority (52.5%) believe that, to some extent, COVID-19 may endanger themselves and those around them, 33.8% I think that this virus is really a danger, while 13.7% do not consider this virus to be dangerous.
Regarding the importance of immunization, 12% of unvaccinated respondents believe that immunization is very important, 33.5% consider it somewhat important to receive the vaccine, while 54.5% say that immunization is not important.
Asked if they would accept the vaccine, 37.9% said they were willing to be immunized, and 33.3% would not agree to receive the vaccine. Moreover, out of the total number of respondents, 28.8% state that they are not sure about the choice they would make.
Of the total number of students who were not immunized by the time the questionnaire was completed, the majority (67.1%) stated that they were concerned about the sera administered, while the rest of the respondents (32.9%) were not worried about COVID-19 vaccines.
Among the concerns of the responding students are:
• side effects that may occur after vaccination • long-term serum efficacy;
• the fact that the vaccine was distributed in a shorter period of time, compared to other existing vaccines;
• possible reinfection after administration of the vaccine;
• the possibility of infertility or other long-term side effects;
• the triage form, which, from the respondents’ perspective, is quite ambiguous;

Were there discussions about vaccination during class?
Regarding the existence of discussions regarding vaccination during classes, almost half of the students (42.2%) state that there were no such conversations in the school environment, while 36.3% state that they took party to such discussions. On the same note, 21.5% say they are unaware of the existence of such discussions.
