– The general situation: relatively cold air masses begin to hit Lebanon tonight, while the weather becomes unstable and gradually settles, starting on Thursday afternoon.
The average December temperature in Beirut ranges from 13 to 21 degrees.
– Expected weather in Lebanon:
Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with internal temperatures decreasing slightly, unchanged on the coast and mountains, with overnight rains in the south and possibility of lightning and thunder, and heavy fog in the highlands during the night.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with decreasing temperatures in the mountainous and inland areas without changes in the coastal areas, sporadic rains at times heavy in the northern regions, with the possibility of torrential formations, accompanied by lightning, thunder, active winds, and the possibility of hail, in addition to light snowfall. From an altitude of 2400 metres, thick fog continues to form on the heights.
Thursday: cloudy in the morning with temperatures decreasing on the coast without changes in the mountainous areas and slightly increasing in the inland areas with sporadic rains, especially in the northern regions.
Friday: partly cloudy to partly cloudy with moderate clouds, with temperatures rising in the mountains and inland, without variations on the coast.
The temperature on the coast ranges from 16 to 22 degrees, above the mountains from 6 to 11 degrees, and in the interior from 7 to 17 degrees.
