National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo gave an award in the form of a ticket to enter the officer formation school (Setukpa) to a member of the BA Subbid Provos Bidpropam Polda DIY, Bripka Heri Prasetyo. Heri is considered an achiever because he has concern for the world of education.
It is known, by giving up all the performance allowance money (tukin), Heri was able to establish the Bumi Damai Indonesia Kindergarten school which was founded in 2020.
“According to the attention of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, he is giving a HAR (award) to participate in next year’s Dik SIP to Bripka Heri Prasetyo,” said Head of Propam Polri Division, Inspector General Syahardiantono in his statement, Sunday (27/8/2023).
The former Wakabareskrim immediately checked the free kindergarten school in Krambil Hamlet, Girisekar Village, Panggang District, Gunungkidul, Saturday (26/8/2023) yesterday. Accompanied by the Karowatpres SSDM Polri Brigadier General Anwar and his entourage, they provided gifts and compensation from the National Police Chief to improve the teaching and learning process.
This two-star general said that as emphasized by the Chief of Police, police is not just a profession, but a way to serve. So that’s what Bripka Heri Prasetyo did.
“I am proud of Bripka Heri who donated all the performance allowance money to build kindergarten schools in remote areas for families who can’t afford it. I hope that many police officers will become role models to improve the image of Polri, which is loved by the public,” he said.
In addition, to all members of Propam Polri, who are the police, the police must be able to be a role model.
“To be a role model is not accidental. I emphasize to the Propam Polri family not to commit violations and obey the rules while continuing to instill religious values. So that in the future Propam will humble himself,” he said.
