National Police Chief Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc. leading the Promotion Report Corps Ceremony at the National Police Headquarters Rupatama, Jakarta, Friday (22/12/2023). On this occasion, Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency Marthinus Hukom, SIK, M.Si. officially received a new mandate as a Three Star General.
“Previously, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, appointed Komjen. Pol. Marthinus Hukom on December 8 2023 as Head of the Indonesian BNN replacing Komjen. Pol. Prof. Dr. Petrus Reinhard Golose who was entering his retirement period,” wrote the official statement from BNN RI, Saturday (23/12/2023).
Marthinus has had a long career as a POLRI Anti-Terror Special Force. This 1991 graduate of the Police Academy also left his position as Head of Special Detachment 88 Anti-Terror POLRI to continue his police career in the field of Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking (P4GN) in Indonesia.
Apart from raising Marthinus’s rank, Sigit also raised the ranks of a number of high-ranking Polri officers. Some of them, Komjen. Pol. Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho who currently serves as Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), 15 high-ranking officers with the rank of Inspector General of Police and 25 high-ranking officers with the rank of Brigadier General of Police.
