Police chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially appointed Inspector General Syahardiantono as the Head of the Propam Police Division replacing Inspector General Ferdy SamboMonday (8/8).
“Today, Monday, August 8, 2022 at 16.30 to 16.45 WIB, the inauguration of the Head of the National Police Propam Division has been carried out. The inaugurated official is Inspector General Pol Syahardiantono, located at the National Police Headquarters. The inauguration is led directly by Mr. Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, told reporters, Monday (8/8).
Previously, the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo removed Inspector General Ferdy Sambo from the position of the Head of the National Police Propam Division.

“Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo, Kadiv Propam Polri, has been transferred to Pati Yanma Polri. Inspector General Pol Syahardiantono Wakabareskrim Polri has been appointed as Kadiv Propam Polri,” said Head of Public Relations Division of Polri, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, last Thursday.
Ferdy’s mutation coincided with a similar decision on 25 other personnel. Those who were transferred were strongly suspected of obstructing the handling of the alleged murder case against Brigadier J or Joshua.
“Tonight I will issue a special TR to transfer and of course I hope that the process of handling criminal acts related to the death of Brigadier Joshua in the future will go well and I am sure the Timsus will work hard and then explain to the public and make light of the events that occurred, ‘ said the Chief of Police yesterday.
“Therefore, on the 25 personnel who have currently been examined, we will carry out an examination process related to violations of the code of ethics and of course if a criminal process is found, we will also process the crime in question,” he continued.
The mutation is stated in ST Number: 1628/VIII/KEP/2022 which was signed on Thursday (4/8).
