jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Teuku Tegar Abadi’s dream to become a police officer will soon come true. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo will recruit the pole vault athlete to become a member of the National Police through a proactive route.

The news was delivered directly by National Police Chief General Listyo to Tegar who has made the name of the Indonesian nation proud both at the national and international levels.

Tegar’s latest achievement was winning a gold medal at the XX National Sports Week (PON) in Papua.

“Yes, Mas Tegar will be visited by my members to be able to enter the police through the proactive recruitment route,” said the National Police Chief Listyo speaking via video call with Teuku Tough Eternal, as written statement, Saturday (13/11).

General Listyo said that the National Police really needed people who had achievements like Teguh. He was also happy if the farmer’s son joined the Bhayangkara Corps.

In that conversation, Tegar asked if after joining the National Police he was still given the opportunity to continue training as an athlete.

Hearing this question, General Listyo firmly stated that Tegar could continue to make achievements and still be able to develop himself by practicing when he became a police officer.

“We want Mas Tegar to become a police officer, as well as to represent the police to carry the name of the institution in the national and international arena. Well, of course we support that,” said the former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.

Listyo also asked Tegar not to worry about being charged a fee during the proactive recruitment. The National Police Chief emphasized Police member recruitment free of charge.

If during the recruitment process, Tegar was asked for a fee by an individual, the National Police Chief Listyo asked him to report the matter to Propam. He also said that ability and achievement is the number one thing to become a law enforcement officer.

“Wow, the one who said (paid, ed) was lying. So, I make sure that no one pays for entering the police,” said National Police Chief Listyo.

The four-star general who was born on May 5, 1969, will take strict action if there are police officers who collect fees in the recruitment process for recruiting Polri personnel.

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that members of Teuku Tegar Abadi would be visited by members to be recruited into the police.
