NNA – Interim Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Abbas Al-Halabi met with the Head of the Education Center for Research and Development Professor Hiyam Ishaq and the General Coordinator of the Educational Curriculum Coordinator, Jihad Saliba. develop and organize background documents to support the national framework for the curriculum.
The Minister has given directives to start the process of submitting applications for membership to the committees of supporting documents accompanying the curricula, by clicking on the following link: https://www.crdp.org/application_form
The Center Manager briefed the Minister on the nature of the basic supporting documents which will be developed by the specialized commissions entrusted with this task by the General Planning Authority and constitute appendices to the National Curriculum Framework after being duly approved by the commission . These documents draw their logic from the spirit and text of the framework and translate its contents into clear indications and procedural details intended for implementation.
The head of the center explained the mechanism of work, “because these committees in charge of producing the basic supporting documents work according to the following mechanism: each committee is composed of members appointed by the Presidency of the Educational Center for Research and Development, and a group of experts who are approved by the General Planning Authority, provided that each committee has a coordinator An educator who ensures the regularity of its work and compliance with the established dates Each committee will have a liaison officer with the General Coordinator of Programs ; therefore, the committees are expected to finish their work at the end of February 2023.
