Theater owners announced Monday that the second National Movie Day will be celebrated on Sunday, August 27. For one day, all films – in all formats and at all screening times – will cost $4 in participating theaters. More than 3,000 theaters participate, which is the majority of theaters in the US, including the major chains AMC and Regal.
