Warning, strong wind! This warning is issued by the forecasters of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). A yellow code for “high winds” awaits us on Tuesday, January 30.
Cloud cover over most of the country will be significant today.
Minimum temperatures will be between minus 5° and 0°in Sofia – approx minus 4°; the maximums will mostly be between 1° and 6°in Sofia – approx 2°.
Code Yellow strong wind has been announced for the areas – Kardjali, Haskovo, Yambol, Sliven, Burgas, Varna, Dobrich.

Above the Black Sea it will be mostly cloudy, with places of rain and wet snow, more significant in extreme southern areas. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 3° and 6°. The temperature of the sea water is between 5° and 8°. The excitement of the sea will increase further and will be from 3 to 5 points.
Over the mountains in Western Bulgaria it will be almost without precipitation and there will be breaks and reductions in cloudiness to mostly sunny weather. In the mountains to the east it will be mostly cloudy with snow showers, more significant in Strandja. It will blow strong, on the high and open parts and temporarily stormy northeast wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be approx minus 3°at 2000 meters – about minus 10°.
Atmospheric pressure will remain significantly higher than the average for the month.
In the middle of the week it will be mostly sunny and warm; daytime temperatures will rise significantly. The wind will be oriented from the northwest, on Wednesday it will be weak, on Thursday it will increase and will be moderate and strong.
