“National Guard Hero ‘Zaporozhye Avenger’ Takes Down Russian Attack Aircraft”

The National Guard reports the destruction of one and the defeat of another Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Zaporozhye direction.

Details: One of them is on account of the Hero of Ukraine, a guardsman with the call sign “Bandit”, nicknamed “Zaporozhye Avenger”.

Literally: “In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy is actively using combat aircraft. On May 25, the occupying forces of the Russian Federation tried to defeat the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces using a pair of Su-25s from the air.

At that time, the National Guardsmen – “Zaporozhye Avenger” and his combat brothers were on combat duty. The fighters clearly identified enemy aircraft and accurately worked on air targets from MANPADS.

As a result of combat work, the first Su-25 aircraft was completely destroyed, its pilot managed to eject over the temporarily occupied territory, the second aircraft was shot down by the well-known Zaporozhye Avenger. After his shot, the enemy Su-25 was seriously damaged and forced to make an emergency landing.

At the end of the runway, Melitopol residents observed a black column of smoke. Before that, there were muffled explosions.
