Aguascalientes, Ags.- Elements of the National Guard and the Mexican Army, “busted” a safe house belonging to a criminal group in the municipality of Rincón de Romos, located 45 kilometers north of the capital.
The events occurred in a house on Circuito Gaetán Lavertu street in the Embajadores neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
After intelligence work, it was possible to locate the property, which was “busted” on Monday night.
Instead, 10 long weapons were seized, 8 of which are 7.62 rifles and 2 5.56 rifles, in addition to 2 defensive grenades, 4 training grenades, 45 cartridges for 7.62 caliber weapons and 10 chargers for weapons of different calibers, as well as drugs.
Neighbors had previously detected strange movements in the house, referring to hooded subjects entering and leaving the property.
The weapons and drugs were transferred to the facilities of the Attorney General’s Office.
