The Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority decided to hold a press conference at two o’clock in the afternoon tomorrow, Monday, December 18, in the conference hall in Nasr City, in light of the aforementioned and what is included in the electoral process schedule.
The name of the winning President of the Republic is scheduled to be announced by Counselor Hazem Badawi, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and members of the Authority’s executive body.
The National Elections Authority previously announced, in a statement issued by it, that it had not received any appeals from candidates in the presidential elections or their agents, against the decisions issued by the general committees regarding the voting process, during the scheduled date for this procedure, and specified in the timetable for the electoral process throughout last Thursday. The general committees at the republic level also did not receive any grievances from the candidates or their agents regarding all issues related to the voting process, during the scheduled dates set from the beginning of the voting days until the end of the counting work and the announcement of the numerical tally of votes in each general committee.
