Thursday March 25, 2021, between 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m., the National Education Department formalized the forecasts in terms of job openings and reductions in the Marne. This leads to openings or closings of classes in schools. The SNUipp-FSU union split a press release.
In Argonne, a post will be abolished at the Robert Lancelot elementary school in Sainte-Ménehould and a second on the group Verrières / Villers-en-Argonne.
The planned deletions at Givry-en-Argonne and Vienne-le-Chateau remain pending. They will be the subject of a study at least in June during a special departmental technical committee (CTSD).
These deletions are explained as being the consequence of a drop in the number of pupils in Argonne schools. This being linked to the demographic decline in the territory.
