National Dominican Parade Celebrates Pride and Heritage in New York City

NEW YORK — Dominican pride will be celebrated throughout New York City this summer in typical colorful flair at the National Dominican Parade.

The parade will take place on Sunday, August 13, beginning at noon to 3:30 pm on the Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) and stretches along the iconic stretch of Manhattan. This will be the 41st anniversary of the event, which will be themed “Our History, Our People.”

The list of honorees for the 2023 edition of the parade includes the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, as Grand Marshall. Other honorees scheduled to attend include DJ Adoni, Natti Natasha, Antonio Cabrera, Banda Real and Celines Toribio, who will receive the lifetime achievement award.

Telemundo 47 and NBC will serve as champion media sponsors for the event.
