Before such measures, knowledge of these establishments is necessary: location, date and type of construction, activities carried out there and any products used, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, etc. This knowledge makes it possible to organize the measurement strategy, in particular to better target the places to be studied, define the substances to be searched for in the air and select the appropriate measurement tools.
Therefore, a national survey was launched in 2017 among all managers of these facilities. A questionnaire was sent by email to all plant managers. The results of the descriptive survey are the subject of this report and allow us to prefigure the campaign of measures that will be carried out in 2018-2019.
