Vienna (OTS) –
The voter turnout at the Vienna polling stations was 67.4% or 759,922 votes. This result already includes the postal voting cards received by Friday, September 27th, 2024, 5:00 p.m. The postal voting cards that arrived in Vienna by the closing of the last polling station on election day will be counted on Monday, September 30, 2024. The voting cards or postal voting cards that were used or cast in foreign regional constituencies will be counted on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The lists achieved the following results – subject to the decision of the individual district electoral authorities:
Karl Nehammer – The People’s Party (ÖVP): 132,705 votes (17.6 percent)
Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ): 225,604 votes (29.9 percent)
Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ): 159,713 votes (21.2 percent)
The Greens – The Green Alternative (GREEN): 90,562 votes (12.00 percent)
NEOS – The power to reform your new Austria (NEOS): 83,734 votes (11.1 percent)
The Beer Party (BIER): 15,892 votes (2.1 percent)
Communist Party of Austria – KPÖ Plus (KPÖ): 28,406 votes (3.8 percent)
List GAZA – Voices against Genocide (GAZA): 8,760 votes (1.2 percent)
List Madeleine Petrovic (LMP): 4,737 votes 0.6 percent)
MFG – Austria People – Freedom – Fundamental Rights (MFG): 1,491 votes (0.2 percent)
None of them (NONE): 3,215 votes (0.4 percent)
