To strengthen prevention, detection, control and surveillance measures for breast cancer, the senator from Morena, José Ramón Enríquez Herrera, proposed creating the National Breast Cancer Prevention Card.
He stressed that in order to reduce the incidence of this disease, it is important to maintain a follow-up and, mainly, to have a prevention and early detection plan that allows reducing the mortality rate. The National Breast Cancer Prevention Primer will be the instrument in which
focus data on this disease, and include information such as: risk factors; studies, their periodicity and the place where they should be carried out, as well as the results of the studies and recommendations; coupled with the possibility of referring to the professional who can combat the risk factors, within the clinic itself.
Its implementation will be gradual at the national level, in order to reduce the threat and mortality of this disease in the lives of Mexican women. And that could start in the states with the highest prevalence rate.
