Spain, 13 October / WAM / The national beach soccer team defeated its Spanish counterpart, 4-3, on penalty kicks, in its first match in the friendly international Spanish championship, organized by the FIFA Beach Soccer Executive Committee, on the sandy field of Isla Canela Stadium.
The original three rounds of the match ended in a positive draw between the two sides.
The national team’s goals were scored by Abdullah Abbas (two goals), and Ali Mohammadi and Walid Bishr scored one each.
The national team will meet Brazil tomorrow, Saturday, in the second round match of the tournament.
