The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, to 38.0144 UAH per dollar.
This is evidenced by NBU data.
This is a new historical minimum; the previous one was recorded on Monday, January 1, – 38.0020 UAH per dollar.
And the hryvnia exchange rate to the euro dropped to 42.0059 UAH per euro.

National Bank December 28 weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate increased by 0.96%, or 36 kopecks, to 37.98 hryvnia per dollar.
At the National Bank of Ukraine explained depreciation of the hryvnia. The regulator says that the weakening of the hryvnia in recent days is due to increased demand for foreign currency.
