National Bank of Fujairah Graduates 11 Emirati Students from NBF Technology Academy: Latest Trends in Digital Sector Covered

United Arab Emirates Dubai: National Bank of Fujairah today announced the graduation of 11 Emirati students from the NBF Technology Academy, where they completed six months of application development training in a course covering artificial intelligence applications, data analysis, and cybersecurity in line with the latest trends in the digital sector.

The National Bank of Fujairah Technology Academy was launched in 2021, during which 43 Emirati students graduated from the intensive training program, during which they acquired a set of experiences and skills necessary to achieve their professional goals and contribute to supporting the growth of the national economy, for the third year in a row.

Vince Cook, CEO of National Bank of Fujairah, said: “At National Bank of Fujairah, we are committed to developing young Emirati talent by providing career opportunities to help them become future leaders. We believe in investing in national talent and developing their digital knowledge, which benefits not only the participants but also the banking sector in general, and the UAE economy. We appreciate the dedication of this year’s graduates, who were interested in developing their skills and excelling in the digital, technical and scientific fields, and we wish them success in their future endeavors.”

The latest edition, which was launched in June 2023, focused on nurturing tomorrow’s leaders in the evolving digital space, and it is the first time that this program has worked to improve the skills of current employees, as five out of 11 participants held positions at the National Bank of Fujairah, and joined the Academy. National Bank of Fujairah for Technology to enhance their career path within the bank.

This year’s graduates successfully completed an intensive six-month programme, combining theoretical classroom learning, practical exercises, project work and on-the-job training. For the first time, participants were required to take professional certification examinations during the training program to help enhance their professional development, including: These include ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Data+, and EC-Council CASE .Net tests.
