National 2: shock at the top for Colomiers

Third in the standings and still undefeated after five days (3 wins, 2 draws), Colomiers is already approaching a shock at the top with a trip to Trélissac, current runner-up of Béziers and declared candidate for the climb to National 1.

Everything is currently working for the Columérins. Unsinkable on the outside, Patrice Maurel’s men have improved the two successes acquired in Nantes (1-0) and Bourges (1-0) by securing their first victory at home last Saturday at the expense of Moulins-Yzeure (2-1 ). However, do not count on Romeo Véna and his teammates to ignite, they who are perfectly aware that slackening remains their worst enemy. A major asset that allows them to exist, better, to compete with the big budgets of the championship for many years.

“We are making for the moment an interesting start to the season. Nevertheless, if some content of our matches is good, others are less so and that therefore leads us to continue working in order to progress,” said the defender of USC .

Tomorrow, at 6 p.m., Colomiers (3rd) will go up against Trélissac (2nd), one of the biggest teams in the championship with whom he shares the same number of points (11).

Physical opposition

“He is an opponent known to be extremely solid. They are also making a very good start to the season from an accounting point of view. We therefore necessarily expect a complicated game,” continues Roméo Véna.

“We are going to have to be solid as we have done in recent meetings, and above all to respond to the physical challenge that this team will offer us. We will also have to stay focused and precise if we want to have a good result.”

For the record, last season, Colomiers won on his land (1-0) before bringing back a draw from Dordogne (2-2).

Tomorrow at 6 p.m .: Trélissac – Colomiers.
