While on the nineteenth day of National 2 in Pool C, GOAL FC had a 10-point lead over its competitors, Martigues and Grasse got back into the title race.

Five days later, Jamal Alioui’s proteges are only three points ahead of their runners-up, FC Martigues, and six points behind third-placed RC Grasse. The team remains on a series of four games without a win including a defeat in the derby against Lyon – La Duchère (0-1) last Saturday.
To go up the slope and put an end to this sad series, GOAL FC will have to do well during its travels against Monaco II, GFA 74, AS Saint-Priest and Toulon, four poorly ranked teams. Especially since three big shocks await the Gold and Black. The meetings against Fréjus, fourth, and its rival, Martigues promise to be decisive.
FC Martigues and RC Grasse spoilsport!
The big winners in recent days are Martigues and Grasse. Over the last three meetings, these two teams remain undefeated. Even if Loïc Chabas’ men won the point of the draw on the leader’s lawn during the 21st day of the championship, FC Martigues is in second place in the standings with three points ahead of Grassois.
