National 2. Jean Tigana appointed general manager of SC Toulon

Former French international Jean Tigana was appointed on Monday as general manager of Sporting Club Toulon (National 2, 4th division), the Var club announced on Twitter.

“Jean Tigana at the Sporting Club de Toulon, it’s done”, tweeted the Var club. “Welcome to the new Azure and Gold general manager in charge of the club’s sports policy”. Tigana returns to the club with which he started his playing career when he was 20 years old. The former midfielder of the France team (52 ​​caps) stayed there for three seasons before leaving for Lyon, then Bordeaux and Marseille. As a coach, Tigana (65) has not worked since 2012 and has experience in China.
