Beaten but beating, the daughters of the Blanzat Sport Montluçon (Allier), at home this Saturday evening February 26 at the Halle des sports, against the co-leader of pool 4 in National 1 feminine: Toulouse HFwinner 22-30 on behalf of the seventeenth day of the championship.
First half
The Haut-Garonnaises immediately asserted their status to lead the debates (1-3, 2e). They who have lost only one meeting this season imposed their defensive rigor and their versatility in attack. Sometimes embodied by their backs Brouillet and Theys (7 goals each). Sometimes by their wingers F. Adams (5 goals) and A. Adams (2 goals). Opposite, the Bourbonnaises first tried to resist (5-5, 11e). Helped by the Horvat door (9 stops). Before experiencing a big air pocket and cashing in a violent 0-7 (5-12, 24e).
Yet solid and applied behind, the Montluçonnaises sinned offensively in this first act. Unable to approach the opposing cage, they forced their shots and made Toulouse goalkeeper Perez shine (15 saves in all). Which chained the parades and allowed hers to turn largely in the lead at the break (9-14, 30e).

Second half-time
Curtain ? No. Shaken by their coach Franck Arbonville in the locker room, the locals finally found the solution in front. Thanks to three players: the backs Ngoulou (9 buts) and Okabandé (4), as well as the pivot Kyriklidou (6). The three of them will have scored… nineteen of their team’s twenty-two goals!
Result, the Auvergnates returned to a length (19-20, 43e). Weary, tired and not having as many rotations as the TFH, the BSM ended up folding (20-24, 49e). Then by breaking (22-30, 58e). In the standings Blanzat-Montluçon stagnates (8th out of 14 with 31 points), while Toulouse FH remains co-leader (1st tied with 49 points). In summary: efforts appreciated, but logic respected.
