It is a warehouse that will make it possible to have adequate spaces for the storage of vaccines and other inputs associated with the vaccination process.
The land on which this space will be installed was ceded by the Municipality of Viedma and will make it possible to guarantee the technical, environmental and process conditions that optimize the maintenance of the cold chain and the storage of vaccines.
Minister Zgaib explained that the purpose of the tour was to meet with those responsible for the work to learn about its technical details and explained that the province was chosen by the Nation to form part of a national work plan whose first stage is the construction of ten vaccine depots.
He also added that it involves 800 m2 of construction and an important national investment of around $150,000,000.
He highlighted the joint work with the National Ministry of Health and with Minister Carla Vizzotti, and valued the constant monitoring of Rio Negro health as very important.
On the other hand, he thanked Mayor Pesatti “because without this land, which the Municipality ceded, today it would be very difficult to carry out this project.”
For his part, Pedro Pesatti highlighted the importance of having this warehouse in the provincial capital and remarked that “an undertaking of this type, so important for the health of the people of Rio Negro, will rank the industrial park” and “probably be the spearhead of other similar initiatives that are going to be combined with this one, product of the provincial public health policy”.
