Salvadoran Nathan Ordaz‘s LAFC advances in MLS 2024, without first suffering a lot to leave the Vancouver Whitecaps on the road
Los Angeles FC (LAFC) beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0, eliminating the Canadians in the first round of the playoffs of the MLS (2-1 best of three) and met the Seattle Sounders in the West semifinal.
Nathan Ordaz, called up to the Selecta, could play in the semifinals against Álex Roldán.
The Polish Mateusz Bogusz, after a great individual play, scored the winning goal for the Angelenos in the 62nd minute in the third and final match.
LAFC struck first (2-1) in this best-of-three series but last Sunday Vancouver reacted with a 3-0 that forced the third and final match.

MLS Cup champion in 2022 and runner-up in 2023, LAFC finished the regular season this year in first position in the West while the Vancouver Whitecaps finished eighth after going through the wild card, where they destroyed the Portland Timbers by 5- 0.
