Nathan Chen recovers at Skate Canada

The American obtained 106.72 points, his technical score – excellent – reaching 60.29 pts. He was well ahead of his compatriot Jason Brown (94 pts) and the Canadian Keegan Messing (93.28 pts).

The Chinese Wenjing Sui and Cong Han lead the pairs event after the short program with 78.94 pts, ahead of the Russians Daria Pavliuchenko and Denis Khodykin, quite far behind (69.46 pts).
